  1. hello, we are currently on the waiting list for our 10 year old to go for a assessment. We are new to this site and i just wanted to check with you regarding the young person group in Abingdon, will this be with parents/careers only or will I be able to bring my child? thank you.

    • Hi there,

Thank you for your inquiry about the Just for Us event. These are for young people and on the booking of the event it indicates the age group each event is being targeted at. For parents we have our ‘living well with neurodiversity’ for peer support.

We look forward to seeing you or your young person at one of the events.

      Kind regards,

  2. I’ve been sent an email from camhs with your information. As my daughter is on the ndc waiting list since oct 2020 and will be until the end of next year roughly. School are really struggling to support my daughter and are trying to get an assessment for my daughter quicker. Is there any advice you can give me please

    • Hi there,
Thank you for getting in touch. Do have a look at our events coming up to see which might feel most helpful. Given the struggles with school you may wish to look at our brief drop-in sessions and book a consultation with our SEND consultant or specialist advisory teacher.

  3. Thanks for your reply. Camhs mentioned you might be able to help with getting my daughter assessed? School are extremely supportive and have several things in place to support my daughter but my daughter seems to be going backwards. She’s now completely non verbal at school and she wasn’t before.
